Several days ago my husband was very sick. He had a fever, his hand was swollen, joints hurting, and could not move his fingers. All of these ailments were due to a severe cat bite. Never in our wildest dreams would we think that these symptoms could occur from a cat bite. As you can see in the top picture his hand was very red, swollen, and infected. After the honey was purchased we had him eat a table spoon of it and then used a sterile spoon to smear some on his wounds. We then dressed it with a gauze pad and medical tape. He slept with it on his hand throughout the night. When we first put they honey on his hand he could barely move his fingers. The very next morning swelling had gone down. He was no longer running a fever and he could wiggle his fingers. He has continued to not only ingest the honey but also put it on his hand for the past few days. As you can see from the second picture his hand is doing very well and all the other symptoms are gone.
