Complete Look

Hello Beauties!

My sister and I decided to do a complete look based on the outfit chosen today.The matching necklace was made for me by my daughter and the earrings were purchased at Target. The top was purchased at a great little consignment shop in Maricopa. The name of the shop is, Snooze You Lose. The woman who owns the shop is very nice and she keeps her prices reasonable. (Below we posted a link for 50% off one item at her store.)

For the eye shadow I chose aqua and lavender from the NYX Be Free travel pallet along with a cream color under the eyebrow. I also added some pink sparkle to the lid by, Wet and Wild.The foundation is L'Oreal BB cream, which is a favorite of ours. I sealed it with Maybelline shine free lose powder. 

The blush is Fuchsia Fusion by E.L.F. too add some glitter to my cheeks. (E.L.F. is currently having a sale, the link is posted bellow.) The eyeliner is actually an eyeliner marker by NYX. Its wide at the top and ends in a fine point so that you can decide the thickness of your line. On the water line I used a black kohl waterproof liner by Sephora. For my lips NYX Butter Gloss and the color is Eclair. This gloss is very shiny and feel silky on your lips.

I used Great Lash Lots of Lashes mascara on my eyelashes in blackest black. This is currently our favorite mascara. We will be posting about it very soon. To finish off the look I added a pair of glittery eyelashes. Have fun Beauties and mix it up!

Fashion Look-Channeling Your Inner Fashionista Day Wear

With our ensemble we wanted to choose something a little more relaxed. This particular outfit could be worn many different places; the beach, shopping, or just hanging around the house to name just a few. The tank tops could be interchanged very easily by adding a different color or changing the color completely I think this outfit would be even more fun with a big floppy sunhat.You could also wear the tank tops with capris, or even a skirt.

We added a flower that could either be worn in your hair or clipped onto the top for a little added pizazz. I made it by buying some silk flowers from a craft store, added rhinestones (of course...lol) and a clip. Also pictured is a cute pair of stacked sandals which I redesigned by taking off the broken straps and adding rhinestones. If these are too high for your taste, a cute pair of ballet flats, sandals, or even flip flops could also be substituted.

You could stay with the silver necklace or change it up with some color. Another possibility add some chunky plastic bangle bracelets in pink,white, and black. The choices are always yours.

We put this look together with a night on the town in mind. A fun filled evening of dinner, dancing, and maybe even a movie with your girlfriends or significant other. With that in mind we have given two different earring choices. With the necklace we added a splash of color. You could replace it with just about any color even stick with black and silver. 

The stilettos are a lot of fun! I took a $20.00 pair of black suede pumps and added rhinestones to the heels and accented the front as well. I turned an ordinary pair of inexpensive heels into a pair of dazzling shoes. These could rival the ones for which you would pay high dollars. Throw in a rhinestone watch and a black rhinestone clutch and off you go.

If you are not comfortable wearing the shorts they could be substituted for a nice pair of black dressy pants. You decide the choices are yours. Let your imagination and inner sense of style run free!

We decided to put together another fun ensemble but, with a twist which allows you to go from day to night. This is a quick and simple way to take one outfit for work, and with a few simple additions or subtractions change it up so that it can also be worn out to dinner or a club.

 For work you take this very cute fluttery top, the skirt and closed toe pumps and with just a quick change make it evening wear. Perfect for a fantastic night on the town. 

Change the skirt for black jeans polish your nails with the black glitter nail polish and switch out the closed toed pumps for sparkly silver open toed stilettos. There are so many possibilities.

There are so many possibilities for this outfit. It can be dressed up further by adding rhinestone jewelry instead what is pictured here. For a warmer day, shorts or capris. Don't like heels, add a really cute pair of ballet flats, sandals, or flip-flops. 

The jeans in this picture were enhanced by adding some rhinestones to the pockets in fun colors which creates a little bling. The choice is yours and the looks are limitless. Let your inner Fashionista shine!

We decided to take some items from each of our closets and jewelry collections to make one fun new outfit. In doing this we learned that we could create a completely different look without spending a dime. The options for this ensemble are limitless.

 If the weather is a little cooler outside or you don't like showing your shoulders you could add a little jacket or a regular white or colored t-shirt underneath the top. If it's hot outside you could wear some shorts or a jean skirt and maybe add a colorful or straw floppy sun hat. The looks and possibilities are endless!

Revlon has exceeded our expectations with their 24 hr colorstay foundation.This has a long lasting formula with medium to full coverage that looks flawless. It was applied with a stippling brush after first using L'Oreal BB cream as a primer. Revlon has created two different types normal/dry or combination/oily. My sister and I chose combination/oily. We both have some issues with the t-zone.

We decided to put this foundation to the test today to see what it was really capable of. Not only did we sweat with it on but we also went swimming. Amazingly enough it stayed put and at 10:00 pm it is still in place. Only our nose has a little shine to it.That is what I call staying power.

Revlon has done a fantastic job with this! If you are looking for a long wearing foundation with medium to full coverage this one is a great choice. If you are not used to wearing foundation it may feel a little heavy at first but the feeling does not last very long. The price is only $9.98 and comes in a 1.0 fluid once bottle. Remember Beauties a little goes a long way.

As you can see from our previous posts, my sister and I really like makeup. One of the enjoyable things about makeup for us is there are so many different looks that can be created and numerous colors to choose from. At the moment we are really enjoying NYX lip gloss. 

If  I am in a hurry and there are only two things I can put on, it would be mascara and lip gloss or lip stick.There are several different types of NYX lip gloss to pick from; butter gloss, soft matte lip cream, plump it up lip plumper, mega shine, and several others they range in price from $4.50-$6.00 each. 

 NYX soft matte lip gloss is a lot of fun and easy to carry around in your purse. When thinking of lip gloss most likely you think of a gloss that is very shiny and sometimes sticky. This is not the case with NYX soft matte lip cream its not really considered a gloss. This particular lip cream is matte, smooth, and moisturizing. It stays on and does not have a sticky feel to it.

The butter gloss is an actual gloss but, like the matte cream its smooth. The butter gloss also has a sweet flavor to it. Each gloss comes with a delicious dessert name and can be worn alone or over your favorite lipstick. So far these are the only two types of the NYX glosses we have tried and we are both very pleased with them. If you have purchased any of the others we would love to hear from you.

All summer long Forever 21 has their cam's starting at $1.80 a piece. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the tag. My sister and I both really enjoy cami's and at that price you can afford to buy more than one.There are many different looks and uses for them. We like to layer ours or wear them under another top for a different style. They also make a great pajama top. 

These cami's are 95% cotton and 5% spandex for a nice comfortable fit.They come in a wide range of colors that can be mixed and matched. The cami's also come in scoop neck and v neck.

 Forever 21 carries them in small, medium, and large at their store. They can also be purchased on their website. The website is currently having a summer sale and some items are up to 75% off at the time of this posting.

Beauty Tools- Pink Pearl Curling Wand

The Pink Pearl Curling Wand by Remington is one of my favorite hair tools. If you are wanting to add a little bounce to your gorgeous locks for night out on the town, or just for a different look, this beauty tool is amazing! When I curl my hair with this the curl lasts all night and is there the next day. I don't recommend using it all the time  too much heat can damage your hair. Once in a while though  is great!

The wand comes with a glove to protect your hand from the heat because it gets very hot. I use it on the lowest setting and that works for me. If you are going to use the wand at a higher setting it's probably a good idea not to leave it in your hair very long.  I have been using it for a while and no longer use the glove partly because I have miss placed it but, it gets much easier with practice.

This particular curling wand comes in two different sizes the 1/2 inch and the 1 inch. I personally use the 1/2 inch barrel because I like the smaller curls. I would also like to try the 1 inch at a later date.

The Pink Pearl Wand can be purchased at many different locations either at a Brick and Mortar store like Target, ULTA or online. The price ranges from $17.99- $29.99 depending on where you purchase it. At the time of this posting Amazon.com has it for $15.77 plus tax.
